Dave believes in supporting his community as a Deputy Station Chief with North Cowichan Fire Department’s Maple Bay Fire Hall & other local charities like Nourish Cowichan. When he has the time, Dave enjoys diving, traveling, spending time with his family & learning new languages.

Michael was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley.

His roots are tied to Duncan by way of multiple generations. His family, a vibrant community, & a diverse environment all make the Cowichan Valley such a special place for Michael to call home. Michael is eager to share his love & passion for our beautiful valley with his clients.

Before joining RE/MAX Island Properties & the David Lowes Real Estate Group, Michael was  a Journeyman electrician for seven years with experience in both commercial & residential buildings. Prior to his electrical career, Michael was employed for several years with a local construction company specializing in custom residential builds. With his knowledge of trades at hand, Michael can lead clients in the direction of making informed decisions about their property or prospective property.

Michael is a team player with a strong competitive drive. In his free time, he enjoys playing recreation league hockey & baseball, & spending time with his wife, Hannah & their dog Annie & cat Lial.
